Deposits and Payments
In order to hold a baby hedgehog, we must receive a deposit of $75 within 5 days or your hold will be canceled and the hedgehog will be offered to the next in line. This is a non refundable deposit. If you change your mind, the deposit will not be refunded. Please only reserve a hedgehog if you are sure that it is the right choice for you.
For your convenience, we accept paypal, money orders and cash for your deposit. If paying by paypal, please add a 4% surcharge. I can no longer accept personal checks. Cash is expected at pickup.
Health
We guarantee that all our hedgehogs, to the best of our knowledge, are free from any health problems. All baby hedgehogs are guaranteed to be free from congenital problems until age 12 months. If a hedgehog dies before the age of 12 months, we will replace the animal at no charge if given a necropsy report from a licensed veterinarian stating the nature of the problem was due to heredity or present at birth. We offer a lifetime guarantee against WHS. We will need a necropsy report to confirm the veterinarians findings.
We do not guarantee health on rescues that we adopt out as we do not know anything about their health or lineage. They have been checked by a vet and are very healthy!
Pickup and Shipping
At this time, I do not offer airline shipping. Your new pet must be picked up in Port Orchard WA.
We will notify you when your hedgehog has weaned and is ready to be picked up. We will make arrangements then for you to pick up your baby. If pickup can not be made within a 7 day period, I will require full payment to hold your hedgehog. At this time, I am unable to do any driving to meet you. Gas prices are just way to high!
